Skip Hire - Do's & Don'ts

For your information, when hiring a skip there are a few things that you need to take into consideration before you take delivery of your skip:

	Assess if you have an adequate amount of private land to accommodate your skip i.e. driveway or garden.
	Before you place an order please ensure that you can place the skip on private property. Skips can be placed on the road but you may need a permit.
	If you are planning to place the skip on a road your local council must be contacted to obtain a permit. Alternatively, give us a call and we can advise you on how to arrange this.

When this has been clarified the rest is easy, simply give us a call and leave the rest to us.

What you cannot place in your Skip

Keep in mind that hazardous waste cannot be placed in any skip, this includes:

	Freezers
	Fridges
	Gas Bottles / Canisters
	Light Bulbs
	Paint
	Solvents
	TV’s
	Tyres
	Vehicle Batteries
